Christmas comes early for rural community groups!

Corteva Agriscience, CRT and Nutrien Ag Solutions are proud to announce that thirty exceptional community groups across rural and regional Australia will be receiving early Christmas presents this year by sharing in $75,000 of grants.
To be in the running for a $2,500 cash boost, local groups, clubs and organisations were nominated by Nutrien and CRT staff who live and work in farming regions across the country.
The Nutrien and CRT representatives needed to explain why their nominated local organisation(s) deserved to be given $2,500 and how the grant would make a positive impact.

Corteva Agriscience's Australian Sales Director, Kirsty Ebert, said Corteva, CRT and Nutrien came together for the campaign to give back to communities after an unpredictable year.
"2020 has been a challenging year, with many highs and lows to negotiate. In times like these, we recognise the importance of local groups more than ever, which is why we want to give some much-needed support to outstanding local not-for-profit organisations,' Ms Ebert said.
"The successful recipients are all over Australia, from Humpty Doo to Cootamundra to Kangaroo Island, and cover a range of essential community activities and services.
"Fire brigades, sporting clubs, service organisations, mental health support providers, and P&C associations are all amongst the winners. Each selected by the judging panel for the important contributions they make to keeping their communities strong and vital.
"Congratulations to the thirty awarded organisations. Corteva, CRT and Nutrien thank you for the wonderful work you do in your local communities.'
Nutrien Ag Solution's National Procurement Manager for Crop Protection & Seed, David Wood, said Nutrien and CRT staff embraced the opportunity to nominate their local groups.
"Our Nutrien and CRT staff jumped at the chance to submit nominations for organisations that they know do great work to their local areas,' he said.
“Thanks to all our teams across the country for taking the time to put in submissions. The successful groups are all very deserving grant recipients and Corteva, Nutrien and CRT are happy to be bringing them all some cheer at the end of a tough year.”
Cheque presentation events will be held in each winning community throughout December to celebrate their surprise $2,500 cash boosts.
