Trial Summary points:
- Same rate of 2,4-D active ingredient was applied to each tray of soil for the three herbicides.
- 2,4-D ester showed significant injury to cotton from volatilization, which was expected.
- 2,4-D amine showed minor injury to cotton from volatilization up to 1 m from tray.
- Colex-D showed no injury to cotton from volatilization under the conditions of this trial.
